Deadly Fukushima Fallout in Your Supermarket Food

Heavy Metal Radioactive Poison Contamination In Food and Water In Japan, USA, Other Countries, US EPA Raises Radiation Allowed In Water, How To Test Food For Radiation, How To Make Radiation In Water Visible And Detectable

This article explores radiation contamination of food, drinks and water in Japan, the USA, and other countries like the EU. You will find out how the nuclear industry, nuclear 'experts' and government 'authorities' deceive the public and hide heavy metal radioactive poison contamination in milk, meat, vegetables and water or other substances. The 'experts' will dismiss any heavy metal contamination and claim that it is 'harmless' or does not amount to enough to worry about. What is the real story?

HOW DOES RADIATION HARM CHILDREN AND FETUS?

Every nuclear facility emits heavy metal radioactive poisons, but they are all invisible, so no one sees them coming. There is no way to avoid them. Because they are not detected by the senses, it makes them especially dangerous, because now the public has to 'trust' the nuclear industry to warn them of these invisible, undetectable toxins. What are the odds that they will deny, hide, suppress, ignore, or minimize the dangers, releases, and negative consequences, for PROFIT motivated reasons?

WHAT HAPPENED TO FOOD RADIATION LIMITS IN JAPAN AFTER 3/11 FUKUSHIMA MEGA NUCLEAR DISASTER?

"Becquerels" and Japan's changing "safety" standards for radiation in food and water

In the video above, narrator talks about how Japan raised the radiation allowed 'safely' in food and water, overnight, with no warning, debate or public meetings. This same process happens in the US as well. He gets into details about what these new raised levels of radiation in food and water mean.

More recently, Japan reversed course on these new 'safe' and higher food and water radiation levels, lowered the maximums to 100 Bq/kg. But the same maximums in the USA are still at 1,200 Bq/kg. Why is there such as disparity between countries. What should be safe in one country should be safe in all, correct?

FOODS AND DRINKS ARE THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF RADIATION CONTAMINATION OVER TIME

TESTING RADIOACTIVE ITEMS FROM THE CHERNOBYL EXCLUSION ZONE

A nuclear expert tests for radiation; she compares a water filled beaker with an apple slice, to a container filled with dried mushrooms; this is how junk science works...
2014 VIDEO: https://youtu.be/j6mreZ98_Ug?t=4m26s

It is totally unscientific to compare a WET water insulated food sample with a dried out food sample. Water is an 'insulator' and blocks radiation, which is why they surround the rods inside of a reactor with WATER. DOH.

Trying to compare a water filled beaker with a WET apple inside of it and a bunch of dried mushrooms is totally without merit. This is how junk science looks and acts. To compare the two, she would have to get a pound of DRIED APPLES from that tree and test them in her machine.

What is interesting is that the video above shows how Chernobyl radiation is still being found in a pound of Bavarian mushrooms growing 1,000 miles away from Chernobyl, at a rate of over 400 Bq/kg.

At 8 minutes in she also tests a small sample of moss growing on or near the apple tree. The moss tested out at 400,000 Bq/kg. It is not obvious whether the moss is wet or dry, because that also makes a difference. This is the same kind of moss that caribou eat in Alaska, Finland and Siberia for example. Is it any wonder that wild boar, caribou and anything else eating mushrooms, lichen or moss is radiation contaminated?

Bottom line, this video shows how stupid nuclear experts can be. It is a really BAD IDEA to eat radiation contaminated food, and even more stupid to eat it inside of the exclusion zone, from a tree where the moss growing on the tree tests out at 400,000 Bk/kg. She must have a death wish.

This supposed nuclear expert claims that eating apples from the Chernobyl contamination zone is ok. AGR totally disagrees. This food test for the apple is junk science and has no merit. The radiation food test done on the mushrooms is scientific and does have merit.

The actual procedure for testing radiation in food is accurate, as shown in the video.

What she also ignores is the danger of hot particles, but that is another article for another day.

This radiation reading was taken in a fish market in Japan, and is the result of Fukushima radiation. Fish and other organisms bio concentrate and biomagnify diluted radiation released by nuclear accidents by many orders of magnitude. Between 70 to 90% of all internal radiation contamination in humans comes from food and drinks like this.

NIHONMATSU JAPAN AND FUKUSHIMA PROVINCE; IS IT THE NEXT BELARUS?

GOM August 21, 2016 Is Nihonmatsu, Japan the next Belarus?

The condition of Nihonmatsu City, reports a citizen from Nihonmatsu.

"Visitors to our city may be astonished to know the fact that the city was severely contaminated by the nuclear accident and that the radiation level is equivalent to that of the voluntary evacuation zone around Chernobyl".

However, you will realize that the city is certainly contaminated by radioactivity when you observe it carefully with your Geiger counter and you will also understand why decontamination is useless. With cynicism, we could in this sense say that the inhabitants there are treated like guinea pigs for a high-risk irradiation experiment.

RADIATION CONTAMINATION OF FOOD AND MILK IS A GLOBAL PROBLEM

The problem of radiation contaminated food and liquids is NOT isolated to Japan, but is present in many countries. Why? Numerous nuclear accidents, spills and radiation contaminated areas are spread out all across the world. Food and drinks are the source of 70% or more of internal human radiation contamination.

Via ii November 27, 2014 "Dr. Alan Lockwood, MD “Consuming food containing radionuclides is particularly dangerous. If an individual ingests or inhales a radioactive particle, it continues to irradiate the body as long as it remains radioactive and stays in the body.”

Dr. Andrew Kanter, MD “Children are much more susceptible to the effects of radiation and stand a much greater chance of developing cancer than adults.” “So it is particularly dangerous when they consume radioactive food or water.”

THE GROWING MEGA NUCLEAR DISASTER AT FUKUSHIMA IS GETTING WORSE, WITH NO END IN SIGHT

Fukushima water headache: 1 million tons and counting:The Asahi Shimbun
Hundreds of storage tanks on the grounds of the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant hold water contaminated with radioactive materials. (Asahi Shimbun file photo)

The crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant reached an undesired milestone on March 18: Storage tanks at the site now contain more than 1 million tons of radiation-contaminated water.

The announcement by the plant’s operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co., came as the utility and the central government continue to weigh water-disposal methods while hearing the concerns of fishermen who fear for their livelihoods.

MEASURABLE RADIATION IN AMERICA CAME FROM FUKUSHIMA AFTER 3/11, REACHED DANGEROUS LEVELS, BUT NO ONE WAS WARNED

Fukushima fallout on vegetation in South Florida exceeded gov’t notification limit by over 1,000% — Nearly triple the highest level reported anywhere on West Coast

Newly released data shows Florida hit with highest level of radioactive material from Fukushima measured anywhere in world outside Japan — #1 out of more than 1,500 test results — Total radioactive iodine was up to 500% of amount reported September 26, 2014 (site deleted)

Levels of Iodine-131 spike to highest levels yet in Philadelphia water supply — Almost double permissible limit December 7, 2012 (site deleted)

INDIVIDUAL REPORTS FROM FLORIDA; HIGHEST RADIATION AREA

ii November 27, 2014 I happened to be in Florida staying at a high-rise building overlooking the ocean when Fukushima blew and have first-hand accounts:

(1) Could smell Iodine in the air
(2) The iodine odor was later replaced with a sulfur odor
(3) It was hard to breathe! (Theorize that was due to all of the XENON Florida received.)
(4) A haze hung over the sky for days; the air had a powder-like aspect to it
(5) People everywhere were coughing and coughing; local media blamed in on "allergies"
(6) Then for days the horizon over the ocean was so bright that you couldn't look at it; like aluminum foil was reflecting the sun
(7) Personally had pains in leg muscles and chest pains (never had before or since)

Via LastChants Teri -in NE WA November 27, 2014 "Thanks for posting that ii! I have a friend in Florida (the big bend area on Florida's western coast) who went through a sudden surge of bone and muscular weaknesses after Fukushima blew. She and I often try to remember the sequences and timing of our very similar health changes so we can compare notes.

We also have noticed quite similar decreases of all animal life in our respective areas. One small example would be our familiar *porch pet* orb spiders gone for two years in her case (she observed one stunted one this year), they're still missing from mine. Barely any mosquitoes and NO wasps or new nests for both of us. I recently read in an insect bite remedy book that wasps are alkaline. Maybe the complete loss of them has something to do with the increased acidic nature of their air and food supplies? Much to observe and ponder these days.

I see the *Chernobyl forest look* is still happening around my area. Genetic changes…certain trees full of still clinging dead leaves that did not get the autumn signal to drop. I foresee more heavily snow laden branches breaking again this winter.

I could go on and on regarding critical changes and advice everyone who is new to the idea of damaging radiation effects, to please think back….what has changed from *normal*? How many spiders or mice get in your house these days? Are there less feral cats in your neighborhood? How about amounts of roadkill or windshield bug splats? Anecdotal observations are needed."

MUTATED STRAWBERRIES AND OTHER FOODS IN USA

RADIATION DAMAGED US KIWIS?

In the following video, what seems like radiation contamination damaged Kiwi fruits are examined.
VIDEO: https://youtu.be/NZ5E4dqZO_Q 5 min.

Kiwifruit, with described mutations matching what you have just seen, were, according to one recipient, being given to the needy at a local food bank in early November 2012; unfortunately all of the evidence was eaten before this came to my attention(tasted "a little bland").

I have in fact learned where the kiwi were grown: central California. Specifically, a small farm, approximately between Fresno and Bakersfield.

It may be relevant to note that even the main stream media, usually reliably oblivious when it comes to such matters, reported the high levels of radioactivity, identifiable as the environmental fallout from the disaster at TepCo's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (often referred to merely as "3/11"). Central California was in fact quite hard hit.

And for those who would think that would not affect the fruit being bought today, it takes one to two years, as I understand it, for kiwifruit to mature enough to harvest.

Should anyone have any other information, feel free to contact me, in the comment section at this link:http://femalefaust.blogspot.com, or by email (address also available at thagt link).

For the record, however, I must consider the cause of these deformations "unknown" unless and until more information comes to light.

RELABELING OF FOOD IN JAPAN, IN ORDER TO SHOW THAT IT COMES FROM SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN FUKUSHIMA PROVINCE

The distribution of irradiated food is also a problem. Food from near Fukushima will be sent to another prefecture, and then sent on, relabeled as produced in the second prefecture. In particular, food distributed by the major food companies, and food served in expensive restaurants, is almost never tested for radiation.

BRUNEI BANNED FOOD ITEMS FROM JAPAN

Recently, Brunei banned the importation of some food items from Japan. What is the US doing?

"The importation of certain products from Japan has been temporarily suspended by the government as a precautionary measure to safeguard the public from radioactive contaminants in food originating from the country. The importation of any meat, seafood, milk and milk products, fruits and vegetables (fresh and processed), tubers including potato and sweet Potato, seaweed and green tea products from Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Saitama, Kanagawa, Tokyo and Chiba Prefectures are temporarily suspended."

Many other nations restricted or banned imported food and/or drink items from Japan.

Protesters slam ‘radiation-exposed’ Japanese sake festival

Eleven civic groups held a press conference in front of the Japanese Embassy in Jongno-gu, demanding that Japan stop the Seoul Sake Festival 2016.

“Seven of the participating Japanese breweries made their liquor in areas near Fukushima, where our government has warned of possible danger from radiation,” a protester said. “The breweries must have made their liquor using water and rice from the areas. Such liquors will jeopardize our health.”

Three breweries in Miyagi Prefecture, as well as from Iwate Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture and Tochigi Prefecture participated in the festival. The Korean government stopped importing seafood from those areas in September 2013 to prevent possible radioactive contamination.

US SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH JAPAN AFTER 3/11, TO KEEP IMPORTING JAPANESE FOODS AND DRINKS, NO MATTER WHAT, EVEN FROM FUKUSHIMA PROVINCE

Other countries have also banned food from Japan, but not the US. While other countries were taking reasonable steps to assure the safety of their citizens, the US went the other direction and Hillary Clinton signed an agreement with Japan to keep on importing everything, no matter what.

MAKING RADIATION VISIBLE FROM FALLOUT CONTAMINATED WATER

How to test radiation in water, using seeds that soak up the water.

Because water is an efficient absorber of radiation, it is almost impossible to test water itself for radiation. But you can test water for radiation by using water in the way shown in the video above.

Let dry seeds such as soybeans soak up the water. Change the water every 15 minutes for up to several hours. Drain the water and then test the soybeans. Allow the seeds to dry out and test again. This will make radiation in the water visible and detectable on a pancake style radiation detector, if there is enough fallout in the water.

FOOD AND WATER WATCH LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA ASKING FOR COMPREHENSIVE FOOD AND DRINKS TESTING PROGRAM

Today Food And Water Watch sent a letter to President Obama, heads of federal agencies, and Congressional leaders noting that the agencies responsible for regulating our food— the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)—have done very little to detail specific ways in which they are responding to the threat of radiation in food.

“There have been several serious nuclear accidents in the last four decades, but food regulators have not caught up with the threat. Now’s the time to catch up,” said Wenonah Hauter, Executive Director of Food and Water Watch.

Food and Water Watch is asking for a comprehensive and transparent plan to monitor and test for radiation, and expand the monitoring program into agricultural regions of the United States. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) should increase its monitoring of air, water, and precipitation, as well as step up monitoring of radiation in milk. The data generated should be used to design sampling programs for soil, water, animals and crops in areas affected by radiation.

The group also believes imports from Japan should be halted. The U.S. imported around 150 million pounds of food from Japan last year, including nearly 600,000 pounds of crab and anchovies and nearly 5 million gallons of bottled water, soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages containing water — products that may be potentially higher risk if contamination continues to spread to the ocean and fresh water sources.

The group, which has been asking Congress to not cut food and water protections from the federal budget, is now asking for additional spending on food inspections in light of the disaster.  “We need more food and water protections, not less,” said Hauter. “Disasters like this highlight just how vulnerable our food and water can be. We should no longer take safe food and water for granted.”

SUMMARY

What is the take away? There is no one that can guarantee 100% of all foods and liquids are free of radiation. Normally, the most extreme testing only measures 1% of food or liquids, at best. Radiation contamination is a problem in areas around nuclear accidents or release sites, including Russia, Europe, Japan and Pennsylvania, as well as the Simi Valley, just to name a few of many.

Testing for radiation in foods is for the most part difficult, expensive and time consuming. The only chance that consumers have of testing food for themselves is to either talk a food store into buying a food radiation testing device ($15,000 or more), or buying a very sensitive pancake style radiation detector and doing the best one can with that, despite it not being made for that purpose. Ultimately, the only way to ensure safe food and water is to abolish all nuclear plants and weapons from the planet.
